Drug Dependence and Its Treatment

Abstract

In repealing prohibition, we significantly enlarged the population at risk of drug dependence and the incidence of drug toxicity. Today's youth will have to face that probability in their pressure to legalize new “goofogenic” drugs for recreation before we know the hazards or the appropriate social controls.
