Abstract

The vast rural areas in Colorado and Wyoming complicate the problems of providing continuing education and improving health care delivery. The Regional Medical Program for these states has tried to provide rural physicians with knowledge, technics and equipment equal to those of physicians in urban centers. One solution has been to bring continuing education courses to the smaller hospitals, so that health care personnel can attend courses without giving up their patient load.
