Ataxia in Childhood

Abstract

The most common type of ataxia in childhood is cerebellar or is presumed to be cerebellar. Prototypes of four general categories of ataxia in childhood are described here, plus the first known case of a condition called myoclonic ataxia with multiple cranial nerve palsies, in which a disturbance of immune mechanisms appears likely.
