Associated and Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension in Children

Abstract

High intracranial pressure in a youngster is good reason for serious concern even when there are no other signs of tumor. The nontumorous conditions that may be etiologic make up a large and diverse group, ranging from drugs to endocrine dysfunction to venous obstruction. Making the diagnosis of idiopathic intracranial hypertension is, of necessity, a long process of elimination.
