Abstract

To a physician practicing in a small community, the resources and facilities that make up the “team approach” to rheumatoid arthritis only seem beyond reach. Even if a large medical center is not nearby, the basic ingredients of comprehensive care are close at hand. The program begins with an interested physician who sees the disease for what it is, a lifelong problem.
