Abstract

The Wisconsin Regional Medical Program designed its first projects to help reduce the time lag between the development and the application of new medical information. The Program initiated a telephone dial access system of information retrieval by physicians and a film service to describe new procedures and technics to health care personnel in hospitals. Both projects proved so successful that they were expanded, and the Program now is looking toward other ways to help the health care professional to budget and direct his educational time.
