Uncommon Presentations of Pulmonary Tuberculosis in Adults

Abstract

According to textbooks, tuberculosis usually localizes in the upper lobes of the lung and is apparent on chest films. However, adult pulmonary tuberculosis may be restricted to the lower lobes or may even present without visible x-ray lesions. The cases presented here illustrate this point.
