Abstract
The 75 county medical referral region served by the Memphis Regional Medical Program includes parts of five states. In seeking improved delivery of health care for this area, the Program has funded a variety of demonstration projects in urban and outlying areas. Services of the Program staff emphasize planning for future needs, based on identification and definition of problems, and continuing education of health professionals.
