Abstract
It is understandably harder for parents to cope with teen-agers' problems today than it was a generation or two ago. Our society has changed drastically. Still the problems of teen-agers are much the same as they have always been, and the so-called reasons for the widespread use of drugs by young people are only excuses. The idea that no one over age 30 can communicate with youngsters seems to be an attempt to perpetuate the rebellion and disobedience so noticeable in drug abusers.
