Modem Management of Cutaneous Viral Infections

, M.D.

Abstract

As the primary cutaneous viral infections are usually self-limiting, therapy must not increase the morbidity of the disease or subject the patient to undue risk. The benign course of these conditions increases the need for carefully controlled evaluations before any treatment can be accepted as superior to “tincture of time.”
