Drug Therapy of Migraine

Abstract

Effective management of migraine depends on differential diagnosis of the four types of migraine and recognition of the various phases of migrainous attacks. Specific drug therapy must be individualized and is determined by the frequency and severity of attacks. A carefully taken history is helpful in eliciting migraine-evoking stimuli.
