Abstract

Quantitation of isoenzymes of lactate dehydrogenase by electrophoresis aids in diagnosis of diseases such as hepatitis and myocardial infarction. For accurate results, knowledge of isoenzyme distribution in various tissues and the half-life of each isoenzyme is important.
