Management of Adult Hip Disease

Abstract

Recent progress in technology of prosthetic joint replacement is remarkable. As a result, management of adult hip disease is changing. In some patients, function can be improved by a nonoperative program. When operative treatment is indicated, total hip arthroplasty is the best procedure to use.
