Abstract

Lack of awareness of potential urologic damage is a major fault in the handling of many injured patients, and failure to use the simple diagnostic techniques noted here has resulted in significant morbidity in many communities. Recognition of the potential for urologic injury in certain types of trauma is paramount.—MSR
