Clinical Assessment of Suicidal Risk

Abstract

Success in preventing suicide is hard to prove, but there are some guidelines that can help to identify high risk. Assessment of suicidal risk depends on recognition of a depressive state as well as evaluation of chronic risk factors and acute signs of suicidal behavior.
