Abstract

This report centers on the most likely causes of gastrointestinal bleeding in teen-agers and the most fruitful methods of investigation. The history, physical examination, and base-line information provide the basis for selecting from among such diagnostic options as barium examination, endoscopic procedures, and selective arteriography.
