Abstract

Assessment of large vessels and pericardial space, determination of the presence of intracardiac shunts, and evaluation of cardiovascular surgery and cyanotic newborn infants can be accomplished simply and with minimal risk and virtually no ill effects by means of radionuclide angiocardiography. Camera-computer interfacing permits simultaneous anatomic and quantitative analysis of the data.
