Abstract
The spatial vectorcardiogram is of clinical value in interpreting complex 12-lead scalar electrocardiograms in diagnosis of ventricular hypertrophy and abnormal conduction disturbances. The VCG is also helpful in detecting the preexcitation syndrome, not apparent in the scalar ECG. The orthogonal XYZ lead system has simplified computerization of the graphic data.
