Abstract
Self-examination and early consultation with a physician have resulted in earlier diagnosis and treatment of chronic cystic mastitis, carcinoma, adenofibroma, and other, less common breast lesions. Although breast carcinoma remains one of the most unpredictable neoplasms, the prognosis is far from hopeless.
