, MD
Pages 135-141 | Published online: 07 Jul 2016

Abstract

A carefully taken history, physical examination, and noninvasive measurements of blood flow provide the data needed to locate the obstructed area in arteriosclerosis obliterans and to follow the progress of this major cause of leg pain in the elderly. A conservative therapeutic plan is presented, based on exercise and long-term monitoring of the obstructive process.
