Abstract
Analgesic abuse, if not diagnosed, can lead to end-stage renal disease. Patients being evaluated for chronic urinary tract infection, hypertension, or renal insufficiency should be questioned regarding analgesic ingestion. Urographic findings may be the first clue to diagnosis.
