Reducing the number of refactory cases

Abstract

Vaginitis can be a frustrating problem for patient and physician alike. Most cases are caused by yeasts, Corynebacterium vaginale, or Trichomonas vaginalis. Since effective drugs are available to treat infection with any of the organisms involved, it is important to make a specifie diagnosis in each case.
