Abstract
Quality control is Important in every business, and medical publishing Is no exception. Our editorial staff is pleased to acknowledge the Invaluable contributions of members of our Editorial Board and of our other referees who in 1977 reviewed and criticized manuscripts submitted to us for possible publication. These referees labor anonymously for the benefit of our authors and our readers because they believe in the need for progress in medical science and the importance of continuing medical education.
The list below names the referees who are not on our Editorial Board. Also included are our non-Board book reviewers and problem-case consultants whose contributions were published in 1977. The signed book reviews alert our readers to the best of the latest medical books for the primary care physician. The unsigned answers to problems provide practical advice on the diagnosis and management of specific problems in primary care.
We thank all of these contributors and hope that we may continue to call on them in the future.
