Maximizing diabetic control in children

An improved method for monitoring

Abstract

Because children are at maximal risk for complications, diabetes in this group in particular requires rigorous monitoring and control. Twenty-four-hour fractional urine glucose determinations provide specific information about diabetic control over the course of a day, information that permits improved precision in the adjustment of therapy.
