Abstract

Problem profiles for office patients 65 years of age and older in Wisconsin and nationwide were remarkably similar and showed a significantly higher incidence of diseases of the circulatory system than of any other category of disease. Data on common problems are useful for planning allocation of resources and help to document the need for medical school courses on problem solving in geriatrics.
