Abstract
In their ardor for self-help and health maintenance, more and more travelers are seeking physicians' advice on health-related supplies to take on extended trips. This article discusses the contents of a basic medical kit for the lay traveler and the physician traveler alike. Also considered is the subject of the physician's responsibility for giving medical aid during travels.
