In recommending publication of this article, one reviewer commented on the importance of realizing that “all that trembles is not necessarily Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis.” Indeed, Dr Truax describes several common tremors that can easily be misdiagnosed without careful clinical observation and, perhaps, electrophysiologic studies.
