Cluster headache with trigeminal neuralgia

An uncommon association that may be more than coincidental

Sometimes two different disorders with similar features can occur in a patient at the same time, making diagnosis difficult. Although reported instances of cluster headache with trigeminal neuralgia are few, the authors believe that the simultaneous occurrence of these conditions is more than coincidental and that with proper prophylaxis, both disorders can be effectively controlled.
