Athletes, whether professional or recreational, constitute an ever-increasing portion of the population. An injured athlete, who is accustomed to a high level of activity and who undoubtedly wants to return to that level as soon as possible, needs a physician who can not only provide effective treatment but also offer methods to prevent a potentially chronic condition from developing.
