Abstract
Dr David Scott, consulting editor of POSTGRADUATE MEDICINE but a novice in the computer field, attended a recent symposium to learn what computers can offer the physician practicing in 1985. In this article, he shares his impressions and draws some insights regarding application of computers in literature searches, in continuing education, and in bedside care.
