Six atypical cases

Because the incidence of ectopic pregnancy has increased greatly during the last decade, primary care physicians are likely to confront the condition many times each year. Atypical presentations may confuse the clinical situation and hinder early definitive diagnosis and treatment. The authors report on six atypical cases and present an algorithm that aids early recognition of unusual ectopic pregnancies.
