Basal cell carcinoma is the most common type of Un cancer, found primarily on sun-exposed parts of the body. A number of excellent treatment options are available. Appropriate treatment depends on the type and location of the carcinoma and the advantages and disadvantages of each method. Drs Goldberg and Rubin discuss the clinical presentation of various types of basal cell carcinoma and the current approaches to successful removal of these tumors.
