Migraine is a common problem in the primary care of young adults. Although it may pose a therapeutic dilemma, it rarely constitutes a significant health risk to the patient. In this article, however, Drs Schroth and Tenner describe a patient in whom neurologic deficits occurred after a severe migraine-like headache.
