Pseudomonas folliculitis from a health club whirlpool

Pseudomonas folliculitis is a self-limited dermatitis that can be acquired in poorly maintained public whirlpools. Dr Breitenbach describes a patient in whom folliculitis developed after she used a health club whirlpool, and he reviews risk factors and treatment options. He also discusses the results of testing water samples from three health clubs.
