One of the many problems caused by diabetes is nerve damage. This may result in pain that is insidious, sudden and acute, or a mixture of these traits. They also summarize therapeutic approaches that have proven to be effective (ranging from relaxation techniques to decompressive surgery) and those that are still in the experimental stage.
