Follow-up tips for primary care physicians

Nonsurgical diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for cardiovascular disease have greatly decreased risks and improved patient outcome. However, patients still need car after they are discharged from the cardiac intervention center. This care usually falls to their family physician or internist Dr Kahn, a cardiologist, discusses aspects of patient evaluation and follow-up after coronary intervention that may be important to primary care physicians.
