Most primary care physicians need only to look at their own daily caseloads to see that the “graying of America” is far from a remote demographic phenomenon. Unfortunately, many older patients have psychiatric disorders that may require psychotropic medication. Dr Cadieux focuses on treatment of anxiety, insomnia, depression, and psychosis and examines the factors in this age-group that may contribute to drug interactions.
