Urokinase thrombolytic therapy has had limited use in pregnancy because of concerns about teratogenic effects and potential bleeding. However, reports of successful use are encouraging. Here, the authors describe their experience in effective use of low-dosage urokinase to treat deep venous thrombosis in two pregnant women.
