An Apparatus for Concentrating Dilute Protein Solution by Perosmosis Against Polyethylene Glycol

Abstract

An apparatus is described for the continuous concentration of dilute protein solutions by perosmosis. In this apparatus polyethylene glycol of average molecular weight 20, 000, fractionated with (NH4)2SO4 to eliminate the lower molecular weight entities, is used.
