Abstract

UDP-glucose dehydrogenase was purified from an extract of calf liver acetone powder by sequential chromatography on norleucine-agarose, Type 2, agarose-hexane-AMP, and UDP-hexanolamine-Sepharose. The overall yield of the highly purified enzyme was 80 percent and the subunit molecular weight was 52, 000.
