Abstract

Teacher education presents the pleasures and difficulties of helping adults discover concepts and ideas in their own field. Not all are ready for the same discoveries, and assistance must be individually appropriate.

Christine Garrick is a medical graduate and holds a PhD in education. She has particular interests in the fields of media and communication.

Raja C. Bandaranayake

Raja Bandaranayake came to Australia from Sri Lanka. He is a medical graduate and an anatomist with a master's degree in education.

Michael J. Bennett

Michael Bennett has had experience in university teaching of psychology and education and has also worked in the public service.

Arie Rotem

Arie Rotem took his PhD in education at the University of California. His major interests are in programme evaluation and organizational behaviour.
