New Technologies and the Classroom

Pages 94-101 | Published online: 09 Jul 2006

Abstract

This paper looks at some of the present possibilities and future prospects for the use of new technology in science education. The limitations of early microcomputers and languages have become a thing of the past, and the technology of today, while opening many doors, also brings new problems with it. Some of these problems are discussed along with pointers to the future and the implications for those who will be producing educational applications of microcomputers in the next decade.
