Abstract
The change in the energy composition of a flux of particles due to its interactions with a scattering center was analyzed. 11 was found that under certain conditions particles with three different energies could arrive at a point behind the scattering center. The relative intensities of the three components were estimated.
Interest in directional effects in atomic particle interactions with solids, which arose in the early sixties, has resulted in the necessity of analyzing more thoroughly than earlier, some aspects of the classical theory of particle scattering by a center of force. Some works will be mentioned here in this connection.
