Summary

This paper deals with uncommon abnormalities found in the following fishes.

  1. Duplication of dorsal fin in a hybrid between Paracheilognathus rhombeus ♀ and Acheilognathus limbatus ♂ representing a case of duplicitas media asymmetrica.

  2. Metastasis of the pelvic region in a hybrid between P. rhombeus ♀ and Rhodeus ocellatus ♂.

  3. Severe lordosis and scoliosis in a hybrid between P. rhombeus ♀ and R. ocellatus ♂.

  4. Congenital rudimentation of dorsal fin in a hybrid between P. rhombeus ♀ and R. ocellatus ♂.

  5. Absence of pelvic fin in a hybrid between P. rhombeus ♀ and R. ocellatus ♂.

  6. Absence of pelvic girdle and fins in an adult specimen of R. ocellatus.

  7. Incomplete triplication of caudal fin in a hybrid between P. rhombeus ♀ and R. ocellatus ♂.
