DESCRIPTIONS OF THREE NEW SPECIES OF PELECYPODA DREDGED OFF THE COAST OF NATAL, SOUTH AFRICA

SUMMARY

Three new species of benthic bivalve shell specimens,—i.e. Nucella fragilis, Leda lanceta, and Periploma fractura are described conchologically with indications of the place of origin of each shell. The last-mentioned is a new genus among the shells of Africa. Measurements, photos and diagrams accompany the description of each shell specimen, which at the same time is also named here.
