BATHYMETRIC AND MAGNETIC TRAVERSE MEASUREMENTS IN FALSE BAY AND WEST OF THE CAPE PENINSULA

Summary

Characteristic patterns of linear magnetic anomalies and sea floor topography west of the Cape Peninsula and in False Bay indicate the presence of numerous dolerite dykes and provide criteria for recognition of submarine extensions of shore outcrops of the Table Mountain Series, Cape Granite and Malmesbury Formation.
