Summary
Two new species of Leptosomatidae (Nematoda) from Lambert's Bay, South Africa, are described. Deontostoma parantarcticum n.sp. differs from D. antarcticum (Von Linstow 1892) in the absence of oesophagal pigment spots and the different shape of the spicules. Thoracostoma ancorarium n.sp. is characterized by the absence of ocellar pigment and the presence of posteriorly-directed arms on the fenestrae of the cephalic capsule.
