Tinea capitis in Madras

Abstract

Tinea capitis showed an incidence of 0·46% in cases of dermatomycosis over a 2 year period at the Government General Hospital, Madras. The predominant fungus was Trichophyton violaceum.

Résumé

La teigne du cuir chevelu s'est manifestée par une incidence de 0,46% des cas de dermatomycoses constatés pendant une période de deux années dans l'Hôpital Général du Gouvernment á Madras. Le champignon prédominant était Trichophyton violaceum.
