Abstract
The first case of bovine cerebral mucormycosis reported in South Dakota, U.S.A., is described. Mucor pusillus was associated with vasculitis, paravascular necrosis and septic thrombosis of the brain.

Es wird der erste im Staate Süd-Dakota, U.S.A., beobachtete Fall einer cerebralen Mucormycose bei Rindern beschrieben. Mucor pusillus verursachte Vasculitis, paravasculäre Nekrose und septische Thrombose des Gehirns.
