Estudio Comparativo Trichophyton Mentagrophytes y Trichophyton Verrucosum

Summary

Two species of the genus Trichophyton are described T. mentagrophytes and T. verrucosum, etiological agents of ringworm in rabbits. They are distinguished by their macroscopic and microscopic features, their ability to produce enzymes and their ability to utilize and ferment carbohydrates.

Abstract

Se describen dos especies del género Trichophyton: T. mentagrophytes y T. verrucosum, agentes etiologicos de tiñas en conejos, destacándose sus caracteristicas macroscópicas y microscópicas así como su capacidad de elaborar enzimas y la utilización y fermentación de carbohidratos.
